The central hall is the first room encountered upon entering the building. It is an enormous room known for it's beautiful architecture, with a ceiling two stories high. Looking up, one sees the balconies extending from the upstairs rooms and hallways. The room can be used for a variety of purposes, but generally, the center of the room is left open, while the edges have tables for students to study at or simply spend time. In the colder months, the ten scattered fireplaces are lit, casting a mystically warm light on the marble.
