A karaoke bar with a tide pool touch tank in every room and many seafood delicacies varying from sushi to fish sticks! The general décor of the building matches its theme of underwater wonderland as all the walls are painted to look like the ocean with projections of various sea critters swimming about. If that wasn’t enough the bar area for drinks (both non- and alcoholic) is an actual fish tank, with all sorts of tropical fish and plans. The outside of the building spares no expenses and the doors look like you’re walking into a conch shell.

A small corner bookstore sits at the far edge of King’s Walk. The tiny building is overshadowed by all the glamorous taller buildings it’s a gold-mind of knowledge and entertainment that is often overlooked. Surprisingly prices are manageable and discounts are offered for students who are on scholarships. Inside shelves are packed tight with as many books that are possible, the lighting is rather dim and calm, and walkways are fairly well cramped – it doesn’t usually get a lot of business from the richer students.

Iced tea, green tea, oolong tea, bubble tea, smoothies, shakes, soda, and coffee La-Tea-Da has it all! This tea-time coffee paradise has every manner of tea, latte, mocha, and soda drink imaginable! Their designer drinks go great with their simple finger sandwiches and luncheon snacks offered (including various salads, sweet breads, and cookies). The building is spacious without outside seating offered during nice days, each glass table with striped umbrellas and cushioned seating.

If you’re looking for sweets you really ought to visit Oasis Parlor! This candy parlor is a very elegant shop with a lot of expensive looking vases and beautiful flowers. The treats served are nothing like anyone’s ever seen either, every cake, cookie, cupcake, chocolate, doughnut, and sugar confection are painstakingly made by hand with the utmost care for both the taste and the appearance. The sweets are extremely expensive, but if they have too much at closing time sometimes a student gets lucky and can take them home discounted (or even for free).
