A virus has been introduced into the Exaclan game. While the programmers have yet been able to isolate and remove the problem, some have been taking advantage of it and due to its strange nature it has gained the name “Heart Virus.” When the Heart Virus is not in effect the game progresses as normal, there’s no gain or loss. However, it has been discovered that when a Royal gains the trust or affection of their Serf, the weapon from that Serf will have a power boost in battle. Should a Royal not have the trust of their Serf there is no bonus and the game progresses as normal. However, when a Royal that is not the owner of a Serf has the trust of the Serf the weapon’s power is weakened.
So far it is the assumption of the Royals that a very intelligent Serf has added this virus to their game, many are quite unhappy about it as they are not interested in forging bonds with the members of their Kingdom. It is incredibly rare that a Serf trusts their Royal enough for a Heart Virus Bonus to be given. The bonus or penalty can only be applied to the weapon belonging to an individual Serf who has had their heart stolen.
