To make things easier on the members of this forum, here is a quick glossary of terms that are important to know. This is also a sort of quick read for important notes on the Exaclan game and the rules that might be better for folks who do not like to read large amounts of information for role-playing on a forum site.

FORTUNA: The supercomputer that runs Exaclan as well as keeps records of every student who is and has attended St. Utopia.
EXACLAN: A game that has been a part of St. Utopia for three years now. It separates the students into two groups, rich students and poor students. The goal of the game is to have the largest Kingdom.
ROYAL: The main players of the Exaclan game. Royals are often referred to as King or Queen depending on their genders and have special gloves that can interact with the game’s coding.
SERF: Those who make up the Kingdom of a Royal are known as a Serf. Serf’s are also called weapons due to their function in the game, which is to hold a weapon for their Royal’s use in battle.
WEAPON: An item based off of real weapons (swords, daggers, polearms, axes, spears, maces, etc) that can be extracted from the chest of a Serf. This word is also synonymous with Serf.
KINGDOM: A large collection of Serfs is known as a Kingdom in the game, Kingdoms are only counted should there be four or more Serfs belonging to a single Royal.
GLOVE: An item that belongs solely to a Royal and enables them to play and access weapons in the Exaclan game.
U-PIN: An item that belongs solely to a Serf and holds the information as to what weapon that Serf contains in their chest. U-pins interact with player gloves.
MARK: A mark is the Mark of Ownership that a Serf gains after being claimed by a Royal. A Mark of Ownership will match the roman numerals found on the back of the owner’s player glove.
HEART VIRUS: A strange new “virus” that has been discovered in the game. This virus gives a power-up bonus to a weapon when a Royal has gained the trust of a Serf or the power-down penalty to a weapon when a non-owner Royal has gained the trust of someone else’s Serf.
GLITCH: Whenever something goes wrong in the game. For example, during storms the coding for weapons will often get messed up and weapons will not display in the way that they’re supposed to.
UTOPIA: A rumor that has spread through the school as quickly as news about the possible Heart Virus. It speaks of a story where a Knight saves a Princess from an Evil Lord and creates a peaceful world where everyone can be happy. It is an idealistic thought and represents a perfect world.
PENALTY: Also known as the Warning Penalty, it is when a Royal gains a headache while abusing another player’s Serf. Almost no players know about this Penalty or the various steps that it takes.
